This drop necklace featured a beautiful faceted briolette aquamarine cut gemstone, set on hand fabricated riveted bail with hand stamped detail. Stone measures approx. 14x18mm. Set on 18" sterling silver box chain.
About the Stone: Aquamarine - cool and refreshing like ocean waters; calming; inviting hope, courage & clarity. Coming in hues of greens and blues, Aquamarine is variety of the Beryl family mineral, and has a strong connection to the Sea and water element. The name translates from Latin meaning "Seawater", and was considered a protective stone in folklore for sailors, fishermen, and travelers of sea, and is a valuable gem today. It is a birthstone of March, and Colorado's state gem. Most commonly found in Brazil, Madagasgar, the United States, Australia, India, and Nigeria. Mohs scale 7.5-8.
