Beautiful faceted briolette cuts of Aquamarine, wrapped in sterling silver and set on sterling silver threader earrings. Stones measure approx. 14x18mm. Lightweight and comfortable, with no worries about losing earring backs, as these slide in and stay in place on u-bar, with an elegant chain draped in the back when worn.

About the Stone: Aquamarine - cool and refreshing like ocean waters; calming; inviting hope, courage & clarity. Coming in hues of greens and blues, Aquamarine is variety of the Beryl family mineral, and has a strong connection to the Sea and water element. The name translates from Latin meaning "Seawater", and was considered a protective stone in folklore for sailors, fishermen, and travelers of sea, and is a valuable gem today. It is a birthstone of March, and Colorado's state gem. Most commonly found in Brazil, Madagasgar, the United States, Australia, India, and Nigeria. Mohs scale 7.5-8.
