About the stone: Stingray Coral Fossil - Its name comes from the fact that the pattern resembles that of stingray skin, it isn't actually a stingray. Rather, it's a fossil and natural gemstone, one that dates as far back as 400 million years old! The gem fossil is formed from the extinct favosite coral, which has been replaced by silica-rich calcium, leaving behind the beautiful contrasting honeycomb design. It primarily comes from a remote area in Southeast Alaska. It is said this gem fossil carries a grounding energy, especially aiding through changes in life.
