Featuring a thick slice of lustrous Aquamarine, 48 carats (!), set in fine silver, sterling silver and jeweler's brass, with a window cut out on back. All hand fabricated. Sterling riveted bail, on 20" sterling silver box chain. Approx. 27x21x9mm stone size, and pendant measures approx. 1.8"x1.4" (46x35mm).

Coming in hues of greens and blues, Aquamarine is variety of the Beryl family mineral, and has a strong connection to the Sea and water element. The name translates from Latin meaning "Seawater", and was considered a protective stone in folklore for sailors, fishermen, and travelers of sea, and is a valuable gem today.
